Went in for a pedicure and shellac manicure. Owner was rude and hurt me several times while doing pedi. When I said OUCH, she said something about my toenails having dirt and proceeded to hurt me again. Asked her the price of gels. I had the gel manicure done and then was told that it was 10 dollars more than quoted because of my color choice. When I protested , the owner was again very rude and said that she would take the difference out of her assistance's paycheck EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD QUOTED ME THE PRICE. Her assistant was very quiet and obviously intimated.
The quality of the pedicure, which the owner did, was poor and I have had to file the sharp edges she left..even after I mentioned it to her at the time. I have a sore toe because of her rough treatment. ALL THIS BEFORE THE MONEY DISCUSSION. My sister has also had a bad experience there..but went, as I did, for convenience and to give this business a try.
Pricing is weird but I had a good experience and will go back. My nails look great and in super picky about it.
My advice is to stay away. This place has all the markings of a greedy enterprise with little regard for customer experience. I am hoping no infection results from the injury..
I organized an appointment for a large group of girls (bachelorette) for manis and pedis, some of which were shellac/gel. We couldn't have been happier with our experience; they were easy to work with to accommodate our large group, had a little table area set up with party decorations for us, and really made our experience easy and fun. Everyone's nails looked great for the big day and my shellac lasted for the appropriate amount of time. The salon was clean and tastefully decorated and attendants were personable and friendly.
Update...one week later and gel polish is chipping and peeling off.
The place was very clean and the one lady does a really good pedicure. But I went back to do a full set which I asked and they said was $45 okay that's fine. But then they start I had some gel polish on so they removed that and put the tips on and asked what shape I said kind of coffin I just like the square tips tapered a bit. So she cuts them and the other lady puts the gel on and said that it's $6 more because of the shape I got....what the heck....1 that would have been nice before they did it so I knew 2 I've never hear of charging more for the shape and then they said 6 dollars more because I had polish on before again never told me. Well I left all of my nails were uneven and had dips in them so I had to go home and fix them. Not happy
Went in for a pedicure, Hiliary the apprentice was so sweet and took her time did a great job. I went over to have acrylics put on and gel over lay. Went back not even a week later to have them fixed one popped of and the gel overlay wasn't done well it crinkled on the nail and some nails weren't even fully covered. That was friday, here it is sunday two more nails popped of.. For the money and time was not worth it. I won't be going back...
